Before - after in a rap track
In this example, you can analyze the before-and-after of a mix I completed for a client in 2022. The client's request was to clean up their vocals and elements of the beat to achieve a professional sound. Additionally, the client desired the creative utilisation of spatial effects to achieve a dynamic mix. While the final example is mastered, the 'before' version is normalized to match peak volume, showcasing the achieved sense of volume through the mixing and mastering process.
